If you would love to stop abusing your body and cultivating even more self-love and freedom, you are going to love what I have in store for you.
Before we get to enjoy more body freedom, what’s first required is entering what I call is the “dark cave.” So let me start by revealing my dirty little secret? I used to be a “body self-abuser”? Yep, all the way.
As a professional dancer I had a slew of deep, dark, very rooted, limiting beliefs and habits that kept me in pain mentally and physically. In…
Most of us have been taught that “calories in, calories out” is what creates weight change. But what if there’s so much more than meets the eye?
What if there are many deeper layers?
What if a global pandemic can trigger some of those layers? Or a time when it feels like the world’s in chaos, and you’re looking for safety?
In my several decades of research and study in the fields of health, well-being and creating ideal weight, I’ve found at least 12 “stress-ers” that impact our weight.
I’m excited to share with you a special TranscenDance™ workshop I did for our world-wide community on April 18th! More than 123 of us registered to attend from all over the United States and Canada, and from as far away as the United Kingdom and South Africa.
I created TranscenDance™ as a conscious dance modality for people to help them create and live a life they love living. The free-from movement of conscious dance both reduces stress and aligns us with a higher emotional frequency, so we can be in the energy of peace…
Feeling increased stressed can often lead to coping mechanisms like emotional eating.
This can include binge eating, an increase in snacking between meals or “grazing,” or even under-eating in an attempt to control the things you can control.
Even though we can’t control many of our circumstances right now, we can feel empowered to make positive self nurturing food choices. Practicing deliberate eating behavior that promotes physical and emotional health is critical right now.
What does emotional or “stress eating” look like?

Happy New Year, and I hope this year is off to an incredible start for you!
As we celebrate the beginning of the new year and this new decade, I have a couple of quick questions for you:
Did you make your New Year’s Resolutions for 2020? And how are they going so far?
I hope you’re already seeing progress, and things are going well! And if you’re starting to feel a little off track, discouraged, or you’re losing some inspiration, I want to let you know that you’re not alone.
Happy Thanksgiving week!
I’m writing this on the week when we traditionally celebrate Thanksgiving in the United States. Thanksgiving is a day we set aside to give thanks for the year’s harvest blessings, for the people we love and for the abundance of good in our lives. And it’s always celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November.
But gratitude is too important to leave for just one day out of the year!
Let me say I have so very much to be grateful for. My loving marriage to my soul mate of…
With the holidays upon us, now is a great time to plan for a healthy holiday season. And what better way to start than to savor some tasty pumpkin treats as we celebrate Thanksgiving in the United States and the holidays around the world!
With a natural squash-like favor (and a sweetness that’s brought out by roasting them), pumpkins pack a powerful punch, both in taste and nutrition! The potassium in pumpkins can have a positive effect on blood pressure and the antioxidants can prevent degenerative damage to the eyes.
Here are some treats…
