A month before her wedding, Adelina Tancioco found out that her fiancé of six years had been cheating on her.
She was devastated. She ended her engagement and shortly after, fell into a deep depression. It was then that she started to think about how to end her own life.
“Every morning when I woke up, I’d ask God, ‘Why did you wake me up?’ And after months and months of that routine, I got angry. I didn’t understand why God kept waking me up when there were so many other people in the world who wanted to wake up and didn’t. That’s when I heard from a place beyond me something that I would never say, a humbling voice of truth telling me, ‘I’m not done using you.’”
Adelina realized that she had a purpose greater than she had ever known and that’s ultimately what led her to the Brave Thinking Institute.
She learned the tools and got the support she needed to leave behind her unfulfilling, underpaying career as a social worker and counselor. She let go of her past life, where she worked long hours and rarely had much time to spend with the people she loved. She embraced her dreams of earning a greater income, traveling the world and making a difference in the lives of others.
Adelina changed everything by becoming a DreamBuilder Coach. She quickly built a successful business and eventually felt called to become a Life Mastery Consultant. Though she wasn’t sure how she would be able to pay for it at first, the calm voice of her intuition spoke to her again. “Call your mom,” the voice said.
Despite their previously strained relationship, her mom decided to support Adelina’s dream, and used her retirement money to help her get started. Adelina vowed to put that money to good use.
Today, she’s a full-time Life Mastery Consultant who loves to help her clients create lives they love living. She earns a 6-figure annual income and has (so far) donated $37,000 to causes she cares about.
Not only is she earning more money, she’s also developed a deeper, more loving relationship with her mom. And to top it all off, most recently, Adelina married the man of her dreams and they are now expecting their first child!
“I already told him that the baby is also a baby of the DreamBuilder family. Mary and all the faculty, I’ve been thinking about how I can thank you, and I thought about saying thank you 1,000 times and seeing if that worked, but it doesn’t do it justice.”
